Dan O’Donnell began working with computers as an undergrad in the days when the Apple || was all the rage and a portable computer meant a PDP in a rack on wheels. He first laid hands on a Macintosh in August 1984 and bought his first Mac in 1987. He started as a Mac administrator in 1992. Since then he has wrangled Macs for the American Film Institute, UCLA School of Film and TV, and NBC. He was Lead Mac administrator and then Corporate Information Systems Security Officer for the RAND Corporation think tank. He is now Information Systems Security Officer for Boeing, in the Satellite Development Center (where high tech goes really high).
